"At the time we were looking for a software solution, we had dramatically outgrown our system in functionality as it related to managing our business risks.  After looking at several competing solutions, we chose WoodPro for a variety of reasons.  What stood out the most were the flexibility of the software, the willingness to customize it to fit some our peculiar business needs, and the reasonableness of the pricing.  The sales and implementation team made us feel like they wanted a partner to grow with versus a customer that could be charged for services provided.

Before WoodPro, we were tracking inventory for several of our remote offices on spreadsheets and had to manually reconcile several general ledger accounts at month end.  Once we implemented WoodPro, there was no limit on the critical information we were able to get on inventory, accruals and other accounts. Previously, we were spending, literally, several days reconciling at month end, and most importantly the time to reconcile these accounts almost went to zero.  The “control account” design of the software almost makes it impossible for certain general ledger accounts not to reconcile to the sub ledger accounts.

In addition, we were able to help design a bid system that translated directly into a system, which enabled us to track and monitor jobs using a multiple of methods, whether it was by building, floor, elevation or in its entirety.  Prior to WoodPro, the job information was being tracked via an excel spreadsheet, prone to human error and certainly way more expensive as it relates to man hours to maintain.

I have personally recommended the software to potential Wood Pro clients multiple times, not because I was asked to, because I really think it’s a great solution.  Service after the sale and continuing support are second to none.  The WoodPro support team has continued to exceed my expectations years after our implementation."
